Crikey, it's nearly March and it's all gone quiet over here. Thought I'd do a race update of what has happened so far in '12 in order of toughness.
(1) Stourbridge Stagger 10 (Feb) I was looking forward to a good run but I was let down badly by ice & snow which made it treacherous (for me). Always a toughie.
(2) Tough Ten, W-S-M. (last week). A bit uninspiring, to be honest. It had all the feel of a 'big' race but never quite got out of 1st gear, a bit like me I suppose. 10 miles of which the majority was off road, either along the beach or in the woods. The woods were quite hard going up & down.
(3) Blymhill 10k MT tough, windy, lots of off road, much like Pattingham. Liked it a lot.
(3) Shifnal 10k MT Not much MT but fast finish.
next up: Cloud 9 Fell Race. Yippee!
